LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Davenport men's golf program competed for the second time this spring on Monday-Tuesday and was back in the Bluegrass State for the Findlay Spring Invitational. The Panthers placed 14th out of 17 teams and
Ryan Kauppila was the team's top individual finisher in a tie for 38th. Next up on the schedule for DU is third-straight trip to Kentucky and Kentucky Wesleyan's Panther Invitational on Friday-Saturday in Owensboro.
Kauppila finished nine over par with a three-round score of 225 (76-72-77), just five strokes off a tie for 20th. After Kauppila, Davenport's next-best finisher was
Ryan TenBrink in a tie for 65th with a 17-over 233 (76-78-79).
Noah Bridgeman (73-79-82) and
Dominic Ciantar (75-75-84), who was competing in his first collegiate tournament, were both part of the four-way tie for 69th with a 18-over 234.
Brandon Bodis rounded out the Panther contingent in a tie for 78th with a 20-over 236 (75-79-82).
