CHICAGO, Ill. – Davenport traveled out of state for the first time this season, running in the Lakefront Invitational hosted by Loyola University of Chicago. The race took place on Montrose Beach.
The men's team finished 13
th out of the 31 teams that ran in the gold race.
Thomas VanSlembrouck ran a solid race, finishing in 26:07 and taking fourth place.
Joey Fox took 83
rd place with a time of 28:11.
TJ Moore finished in 28:17 and took 87
th, while
Brad Hotovy finished in 28:30 and took 99
th place.
Les Miner placed 101
st with a time of 28:32.
Hunter Nelson placed 111
th with a time of 28:54.
The women's team placed 23
rd out of the 31 teams in the gold race. Leading the way was
Morgan Posthuma, who finished in 19:46 and took 23
rd place.
McKenna Evans finished 136
th with a time of 22:55.
Autumn Hancock took 143
rd with a time of 23:06 and
Britney Medcoff finished 160
th with a time of 23:45. Avrice Beach, in her first meet this season, ran 23:47 and placed 161
st.
