BIG RAPIDS, Mich. - The Davenport men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision on Saturday at Ferris State in GLIAC action. The Bulldogs improved to 9-0 overall while the Panthers evened their record at 7-7.
The Panthers were back in action after a short hiatus and could not field a full six positions in the lineup. They were forced to forfeit at three doubles and six singles.
Jonathan Bulmer and
Bobby Tarrant were able to win at two doubles 6-4 over Ayush Deswal and Yannic Mader.
DU could not muster a singles win as the Bulldogs won all five in straight sets.
Daniil Khitrou had the closest chance at one singles falling 6-3, 6-4 against Mathis Guerre.
