ALLENDALE, Mich. - The Panthers saw a couple of more top performances at the GVSU Big Meet on Saturday and continue to get chances to compete in preparation of the GLIAC Championships. This tune up saw two very noteworthy performances as Mitchell McKelvey and Isaiah Schafer both set school records. McKelvey now holds the pole vault record and Schafer in the shot put.

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES

• Erin Dorn finished fourth in the 800 meters and set a personal best at 2:23.46.
• Josephine Sokol placed sixth in the 60 meter hurdles and set a personal best at 9.96 seconds.
• Alexandra Eby placed fifth in the pole vault and cleared 11' 6.5".
• Mackenzie Brigham finished seventh in the triple jump with a distance of 34' 0.25".
• Lisa Wangler would place fifth in the weight throw with a throw of 52' 4.75".
• Brendan LaLonde finished fifth in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.16 seconds and set a personal best.
• Joey Fox finished eighth in the 800 meters with a time of 1:57.93 and set a personal best.
• Ethan Flores came in second in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.30 seconds.
• Austin Berg would place fourth in the high jump clearing 6' 0.5".
• Mitchell McKelvey would place first in the pole vault and set the school record at 14' 10.25".
• Ryan Olsen placed fourth in the long jump with a distance of 21' 4.25" and set a personal best.
• Isaiah Schafer had a big showing in the shot put by finishing second while also hitting a provisional NCAA mark (57' 10.5"). He also set a personal best and a school record in the process.
