GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Davenport notches two wins on Friday and improve their overall record to 7-8. The Panthers defeated a top 25 team in Lewis-Clark State 6-3 and rolled over conference opponent Concordia University 9-0. Both matches were played at Riverview Athletic Club here in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Match 1 (Friday, March 31 at 10:30 a.m.)
Final score: Davenport-6 | Lewis-Clark State-3

Records: DU (6-8) | LCS (1-11)
In the doubles matches DU won 2-1. The duo of
Michael Digby and
Haja Denise won 8-1 and the combo of
Sam Rogerson and
Juan-Philip van Antwerpen won their match 8-2.
Matthew McClurg and
Max Hartman fell by only one set 8-9.
In the singles matches Davenport 4-2. McClurg had a decisive 2-0 win against Jeff Su, set scores were 6-1 and 6-2. Next Antwerpen won a thrilling three set match 2-1 against Yonas Woldetsadki 5-7, 6-1 and 6-0.
Digby handled his opponenet nicely with a 2-0 win 6-3 and 7-5. While Hartman rounded out the last singles competition and won 6-2 both sets.
Match 2 (Friday, March 31 at 3:30 p.m.)
Final score: Davenport-9 | Concordia-0

Records: DU (7-8) | CUAA (4-10)
Davenport swept both the singles and doubles competitions against the Cardinals.
Rogerson and Anwerpen went a perfect 8-0 in their doubles match, while Digby/Denise and McClurg/Hartman each won 8-1 in their doubles matches.
In the singles competitions not one Davenport player lost more than one game throughout their entire match. Digby went a perfect 6-0 and 6-0 during his competition, while McClurg's opponent retired after the first set.
