                     LIMA, Ohio. – The Panthers played an extremely tough opponent on Friday night and were un-able to gather a team point. The Racers of Northwestern Ohio are currently ranked fourth in the nation and generated some tough competition for Davenport to face. Davenport is 2-3 in WHAC play and have one more regular season conference match left on their schedule.
 
Match 1 (Friday, April 14 at 4:00 p.m.)
Final score: Davenport-0 | #4 Northwestern Ohio-9
Location: Lima, Ohio
Records: DU (9-12) | UNOH (16-1)
 
In the doubles competitions Davenport only had two pairs that competed. 
Michael Digby and 
Haja Denise put up a great fight in the one doubles slot, but fell 8-6. 
Sam Rogerson and 
Juan-Philip van Antwerpen lost in the two doubles match 8-2.
 
In the singles matches Digby had his opponent on his heals early. He won the first set 7-5 but then lost the next two sets. Rogerson and 
Max Hartman each played their opponent to close sets and ultimately lost the match.
 
Up Next
The team's next match will be their final regular season conference match vs. Cornerstone University on Wednesday night. The match will be played at the Farmers Insurance Athletic Complex with a start time of 6:00 p.m.
