MARION, Ind. – The Panthers faced some tough competition on Saturday as they took ninth ranked Campbellsville and Indiana Wesleyan. Davenport fell to Campbellsville 5-0 in their first game and smoked Indiana Wesleyan 5-0 during the second game. The Panthers are 9-9 overall and have four matches remaining on their schedule.
Match 1 (Saturday, April 8 at 1:00 p.m.)
Final score: Davenport-0 | #9 Campbellsville-5

Davenport was swept in the doubles and singles competitions against Campbellsville. The combination of
Sam Rogerson and
Juan-Philip van Antwerpen put up the best fight in their doubles match losing 8-3. Rogerson was also the only one to win a set in the singles competition.
Match 2 (Saturday, April 8 at 5:00 p.m.)
Final score: Davenport-5 | Indiana Wesleyan-0

The Panthers turned things around in the second match against Indiana Wesleyan.
Davenport won all three doubles competitions 8-5. The duos were as follows,
Michael Digby and
Haja Denise, Rogerson and Antwerpen, and
Matthew McClurg and
Max Hartman.
In the singles competitions Rogerson and Denise won their matches easy. Neither of them lost more than four games during their match. The remaining four singles competitions went unfinished because Davenport recorded five points and Indiana Wesleyan was un-able to come back from that deficit.
