CHESTERFIELD, Mo. – The Women's Hockey team took to the ice for the final time in the 2021 season, wrapping up their weekend set with Maryville University.
The Saints put on another controlling performance, only giving up one goal for the second night in a row, and earning the program's first-ever weekend sweep.

Similar to the game on Friday, Maryville led 1-0 after the first period, as Colleen O'Leary scored for the Saints. They added four more in the middle stanza, as Meghan Flock and Olivia O'Brien scored back-to-back for the Saints, as Mady Johnson added a pair, giving her five on the weekend. In the third, Paige Stelzer scored her second of the weekend, before Flock found the back of the net two more times, completing her own hat trick.
Avery Anderson scored for the Panthers in the final minute, but the damage had been done, as the Saints completed the weekend sweep with the 8-1 win.
The Panthers end the season with a 1-7 record.
