Rocket League Varsity:
Â
Davenport Panther Rocket League had a slow week and sadly they were only able to play one game this week and that was against PDMM Academy (4-0). The Panthers came in quick and efficient taking a 3-0 win to move to 4-1 on the year and their other game this week was a forfeit and ended up putting the Panthers at 5-1 to finish the regular season in IGL. Looking into the upcoming week, the Panthers start META Invitational playing in the Elite Division.

CSGO Varsity:
Â
CS:GO Varsity is on its fourth week of really solid wins. We beat Colorado State quite convincingly, only giving them a total of three rounds, finishing off the match 16-3. We also just won our sixth match in Open making us 6-0. Next we face Michigan Tech University, which is arguably the #1 school in the nation.

CSGO Academy:
Â
Last week, CSGO Academy played two official matches: CSL versus MSU wideswingers (lost 16-3 on mirage and 16-10 on inferno) and NACCS versus Auburn University (lost 16-4 on dust 2). Besides that no other scrims were played. We are planning on continuing to work on our consistency and aim training as we are still very far behind in our mechanical skill, which is holding us back a lot. I am planning on getting some one-on-one demo reviews in with my players to help them identify mistakes that are being made during the games.

League of Legends:
Â
On February 6 & 7, Davenport University LoL Varsity competed in the Grand Rapids Rift Clash minor league tournament. In the league there were seven teams, Central Michigan University, Alabama-White, Robert Morris University, Milwaukee School of Engineering, Jackson College, Ferris State University, and Davenport University. Davenport played against CMU and Alabama-White on day one ending the day 4-0 against CMU, 2-2 against Alabama-White, and 6-2 overall. This placed Davenport second place in their pool. The morning of the 7th, Davenport played against MSOE and lost a best-of-three match ending with a score of 2-0. Communication and teamwork was great during this tournament and the only notable improvements to make could include team composition and furthering skill level.

Smash Bros Ultimate:
Â
Last week was a more redeeming week than the one prior for Davenport University's Super Smash Brothers Ultimate Team. DU went 1-1 which served as a nice moral booster for the team. In case you missed last week's update, DU's Smash Team lost both of their matches. Making a break in the losing streak was just what the team needed to motivate themselves to prepare for this upcoming Tuesday's matches. To tune in on your Panthers, keep an eye on @TechChasegg on twitter as to which stream Davenport's team is playing on! The team is looking to take both matches this week, so be sure to stop by the live stream(s) to see how everyone has grown! And as always, Go Panthers!
