PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Davenport men's bowling team had a very successful tournament run at the American Heartland Conference III and IV over the weekend.
Grant Oehler put together his greatest performance this season by finishing third at the AHIBC III on Saturday and second at the AHIBC IV on Sunday. Oehler helped the team finish fifth among 15 teams on Saturday with an average of 225.2 over five games. He rolled over 200 in each of the five games including a high of 252 in the fourth game.
Jared Lovett bowling for the JV squad placed 14th in total pins with 994 (198.8 average).
Brendan Adams also a part of the JV team rolled a 193.2 average with a high of 224 in the second game. Patrick Stalnaker finished 45th and totaled 885 pins.
Oehler was 52 pins shy of first place on Sunday and averaged 207.75 over four games. He rolled a 230 in the third game for his high on the day.
Brandon Hyska finished in the top 15 with an average of 192.5. Nicholas Luther averaged 190 over his four games including a high of 214. The Panthers as a team finished second with 6,908 pins and Wright State had the high with 7,004.
