BENSENVILLE, Ill. – The Panthers get back on track with a 2-0 road win against Robert Morris College. Davenport played stellar defense as they shut out the Eagles of Robert Morris. The Panthers are now 3-5 on the season and have a chance to extend their win streak as they play Robert Morris again today at 7 p.m.

HOW IT HAPPENED-The first period was a defensive battle as neither team would score. Davenport tallied 14 shots on goal while the Eagles tallied ten shots. This period was very physical as the teams spent a combined ten minutes in the penalty box.
-Davenport opened things up in the second period as they scored two goals. Senior
Laken Kunz got the Panthers on the score board first with a score in the 8
th minute of the period, she was assisted by
Lexie Boydston and
Patsy Howe.
Victoria Dubuc notched the second goal for DU in the 14
th minute to increase the lead to two goals.
-The third period was another great defensive effort by both teams. Neither team would give up a goal while a combined 26 shots were fired by both teams.
-Both Kunz and Dubuc each had a goal, Kunz's goal would be considered the game winning goal.
-Howe assisted on both the goals to lead DU.

Karley Ferguson recorded the shutout as she played all 60 minutes and stopped all 46 shots fired at her.
