GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The women's hockey team loses both games in a mini series against Adrian College. The Panthers would struggle to find the net as they scored once during the two game span.

HOW IT HAPPENED-The Panthers got down early in game as Adrian would score two unanswered goals in the opening period. Davenport would tally three shots on goal during the first period.

Adrienne Porcalla would give the Panthers a small spark in the second period as she would score the only goal for DU over the two game series, she was assisted by
Laken Kunz.
-The Bulldogs of Adrian scored in the last minute of play in the game and would win 4-1.
-Porcalla led DU with one goal.
-Kunz tallied one assist.

HOW IT HAPPENED-The opening period saw great defensive efforts by both teams, as neither team would score. DU would tally four shots on goal and Adrian would notch 13 shots on goal.
-Davenport would hold Adrian scoreless up until the last five minutes of the second period. The Bulldogs would score two goals in the last five minutes of the period to lead 2-0 after two periods.
-The Panthers weren't able to get it going on the offensive end as they would be shut out and would give up two goals.

Karley Ferguson played all 60 minutes in goal and tallied an incredible 46 saves for the game.
