Box Score MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – After opening the 2015 portion of their season on Friday night the Davenport D3 hockey team concluded the weekend series against Central Michigan on Saturday afternoon. Davenport lost to Central Michigan 9-1, as
Cody Olsen scored the only goal for the Panthers in the game and snapped a seven game scoreless drought. Davenport will be in action next weekend as they have a home-and-home series against Hope College on Friday and Saturday.

The Davenport D3 hockey team was in search of their first win on the season, and the Panthers were trailing 4-1 after a goal from
Cody Olsen, which was the team's first goal in the last seven games. Central Michigan was able to score a power play goal late in the period to take a 5-1 lead.

After the late power play goal from the Chippewas, they took the momenetum and scored four unanswered goals to close out the game and win the game 9-1.
Kelton Maskell made his second straight start in net and dropped to 0-10-0 on the season.

Next up for the Panthers is a home-and-home series with Hope College next weekend, as Davenport will host the second half of the series on Saturday night at 8:20 p.m. Â
