GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Davenport D3 hockey team will have a tough test this weekend as the three time defending National Champion Adrian College-Gold comes to Grand Rapids to face DU in their only game of the week. Davenport is still searching for their first win of the season as they take on Adrian-Gold at Patterson Ice Center on Saturday at 5:20 p.m.

Scouting Adrian-Gold
 
The Bulldogs enter the weekend with a 3-1-0-1 record after losing to Grand Valley State in regulation and a shootout loss against Saginaw Valley State. Leading the team offensively is Myles Maltz with five goals and for assists to total nine points. Maltz lead the team in all three categories offensively. Adrian-Gold was off last weekend after they split a weekend series with Saginaw Valley State.
 
In net, three different goaltenders have clocked in at least 60 minutes of playing time. Leading the way in save percentage is Richard Hennard with a .899 and leading in goals against average is Justin Lindgren with a 2.00 average.
 
The Panthers
 
Through four regular season games, Davenport has scored four goals and Justice Postman leads the team with two goals. Chris Pakalnins and Cody Olsen are the other two Panthers with goals this season. Josh Riemersma leads the team with two assists on the year. In goal, first year head coach Jeremy Bultema has had three different options to go with in Paul Snyder, Adam Rooney and Kelton Maskell. Maskell has played two games while Rooney and Snyder each appeared in one game.
 
The Panthers will host their lone game this weekend against Adrian College-Gold in Saturday at Patterson Ice Center at 5:20 p.m.
