Noah Marcoux named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Team

The 2020-21 Academic All-District® Baseball Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Noah Marcoux, a junior first baseman from Saginaw, Mich. (Heritage HS), has been selected as one of 12 student-athletes in District 4 (NCAA Division II) to receive this honor. Marcoux was one of five infielders amongst the group and one of just two Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) honorees.

Marcoux is a business management major at Davenport and all nominees needed to possess a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.30 and also combine their athletic prowess to be nominated. He excels in the classroom and on the baseball diamond as one of the premier players in the region. Marcoux led DU with a .392 batting average in 2021 and started all 49 games at first base. He fielded .992 with just three errors in 383 chances. Marcoux had one of the best power seasons in DU history with a .722 slugging percentage, 18 doubles, two triples and 14 home runs. He drove in 62 runs and also scored 54 times. He walked 31 times and had a .483 on-base percentage.
