Grand Rapids, Mich. - The Davenport University pompon program is kicking the 2019-20 season off with some exciting opportunities to support and give to the program by launching a letter and giving campaign set to take place on July 19 through the first week of October.

Each member of the 2019-20 team will be writing letters to individuals thanking them for their support and gifts to the program to help support and fund their high kick competition set to take place in November of this year. Without the love and support from donors, many opportunities these amazing student-athletes are given would not be possible.

The Mid American Pompon Hip Hop and High Kick Competition is a statewide event where the team will compete against other traditional collegiate pom teams in Michigan including Michigan State University, University of Michigan, Saginaw Valley State University, Atomic Pom, Grand Valley State University, Washtenaw Community College, and Central Michigan University. They are looking for your support with lodging, food and travel expenses, competition fees, uniform and prop expenses, as well as your spectator support as they compete for the third year in a row at this amazing event.
