ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - The Panther swimmers made their final road trip prior to the GLIAC Championships in February on Saturday in a tri-meet at Lewis University. The Panthers defeated NCAA Division III North Central College 101-57 and fell to NCAA Division II Lewis 134-50.
The 200-yard medley relay placed second with a time of 1:52.13 and earned four points.
Jenna Schrotenboer placed second in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:00.86 and earned four points.
Megan Fraula continued the theme of second place in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:20.01.Â
Lauren Bockheim took third in the 50-yard freestyle the most exciting race with a time of 26.30 while Allie Steffin was fifth in 26.85. Schrotenboer had another runner-up finish in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 55.73.
Dominyka Rapsyte took second place in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:02.56.Â
Riley Faulkner won the 500-yard freestyle in a time of 5:20.58 and second place was in a time of 5:22.87. Steffin brought home first place in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:09.96.Â
