CALEDONIA, Mich. – Davenport will host Purdue University-Northwest for a GLIAC Quarterfinals match on Tuesday, October 31. The Panthers and Pride will kick off at 2:00 p.m. tomorrow and will compete for the third time this season. The regular season battle between the two teams ended in a 1-1 tie, Davenport won the first game 2-0 and the Pride won last Friday 1-0 in overtime.
Brogan Shrimpton and
Stephen Carroll scored the goals during the 2-0 win back on October 4 over PNW. The Panthers defense only gave up two shots on goal during that game, both of which
Aaron Orban saved. Last Friday the Pride spoiled the Panthers senior night by snatching a 1-0 win in overtime. The Panthers are fired up and ready to host the Pride.
