A Quick Look at Davenport (20-4, 0-0 WHAC)The Panthers are coming off a difficult loss to NCAA Division II member Ferris State last Wednesday. The Bulldogs rallied from a one-run lead in the seventh to escape with a 3-2 win over the Panthers in their only game of the day. Although the Panthers are owners of a .334 batting average and a 2.50 ERA on the year, their defense has been solid as they have the best fielding percentage (.975) in the NAIA.
Paige Sant'Angelo, who has been missing the last six games due to injury, still holds a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage to lead the nation.
Â
A Quick Look at Concordia (4-6, 0-0 WHAC)The Cardinals opened their 2015 campaign March 6 but have only played 10 games so far. They were supposed to begin WHAC play UM-Dearborn last weekend but, like Davenport, were the victims of the cold temperatures looming throughout Michigan and Indiana. Concordia is hitting .275 on the season and has a 5.55 ERA.
