A Quick Look at Huntington
The Foresters got their 2014-15 campaign underway Tuesday with a 55-41 win over Holy Cross (Ind.). Huntington got off to a slow start the first five minutes before settling down. Amelia Recker led the effort for the Foresters scoring 20 points and brought down four rebounds. Miranda Palmer added 18 points and paced the ballclub with five assists. Huntington, like Davenport, was a participant in last year's NAIA Division II Tournament in Sioux City, having reached the second round before falling to top seed Northwestern Iowa 92-68.

Panthers vs. Foresters
Despite being nearly three hours apart from each other, Davenport and Huntington's only meeting in their history was in Sioux City, Iowa for the 2009 NAIA Division II Tournament.

The Last Time They Met
Kallie Benike had 18 points, seven rebounds, four steals and three assists to lead the Panthers to 72-56 victory over the Foresters in the second round in front of 3,898 at the Tyson Events Center. Kristi Boehm added 13 points and was one rebound short from completing a double-double while then-freshman Karlee Despres collected 10 points off the bench. Davenport outshot the Foresters 39 percent to 34 and outrebounded them 45-36. Kelsey Green had 19 points, including going 6-for-6 on the free throw line and 3-for-3 from beyond the arc, to lead Huntington.
