MIDLAND, Mich. - Davenport's
Hannah Henney scored her first career goal in the 20th minute to tie it on Saturday at Northwood, but the Timberwolves scored again in the 64th minute to hand the Panthers a 2-1 defeat. Next up on the schedule, Davenport will host Saginaw Valley State on April 16 at 4 p.m.
Northwood out-shot Davenport 13-6, including 9-2 in shots on goal, and notched two corner kick attempts to the Panthers' zero. In goal, Davenport's
Samantha Beckles faced nine shots and made seven saves.
Offensively, aside from Henney, three Panthers registered a shot including
Madeleine Zayan (3 shots, 1 SOG),
Marissa Woods (1 shot) and
Kathryn Hoeger (1 shot).
