- The home team's hot start continued into the second set as it scored the first three points and 11 of the first 14.
- The visitors pulled within four at 12-8 and 13-9 before Davenport ended the set on a 12-3 run to win it and go up 2-0 in the match.

- Once it was 3-3, the Panthers reeled off nine of the next 11 points to take a seven-point advantage, 12-5.
- The Warriors cut it to six twice at 12-6 and 13-7 before the Panthers pushed their lead to 10, 17-7.
