GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Davenport played their 10th conference game of the season, this time hosting the Wildcats of Northern Michigan. The game was tight throughout, with DU holding the lead at halftime. However, a big fourth quarter by the Wildcats gave them the victory. Davenport falls to 0-10 in conference play and 5-13 on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Davenport held their own throughout the first half, even held an eight-point lead with 3:54 left in the first quarter. The half was low scoring for both teams, with the halftime score sitting at 23-19 in favor of DU. The Panthers battled through the missed shots and came out on top through 20 minutes of play, against a team who has a winning record in conference play.
Davenport kept things going in the third quarter, getting baskets by Jenna Falkenberg, Toni Grace. Elise Scaggs, and Madison Jones. The Panthers maintained the lead and the score was at 34-31 heading into the final quarter. The Wildcats had struggled against the DU defense all game, but their offense came to life in the final quarter. Northern Michigan went for 21 points in the final 10 minutes of play and ended up winning the game by double digits. The final score was 52-42, in favor of Northern Michigan.
