GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - For the first time since Oct. 12, the Davenport University women's volleyball team got to play inside its own gym. Saturday night, the Panthers hosted rival, Grand Valley State for the two teams' second meeting of the season. The Panthers took the first set, but the Lakers answered by winning the next three to take the match in four and both matchups of the season series.

HIGHLIGHTS
- For the match, Davenport hit .111 with 49 kills to 31 errors on 162 total attacks.
- On the other side, Grand Valley finished with an offensive clip of .311 on 60 kills and 14 errors with 148 swings.
- The Lakers blocked 11 of the Panthers attack attempts, just as many as their total in Allendale, which is the second most by a DU opponent this season.
- In the first set, aside from a pair of ties at 3-3 and 4-4, Grand Valley had the lead early on.
- Once the Lakers went up 10-7, the Panthers clawed back with four-straight points to take their first lead, 11-10.
- Following seven more ties, the last one being 22-22, the home team scored three of the ensuing four points to win the set and go up 1-0 in the match.
- In the second set, Davenport scored the first two points before Grand Valley responded with three in a row to take the lead.
- Once it was 3-3, the Lakers took the lead back with three-consecutive points and never relinquished it.
- Four times, the Panthers cut the deficit to two, but couldn't get any closer than that.
- The fourth set was the closest of the match as it saw a total of 15 ties and seven lead changes.
- At two spots, Davenport trailed by five, but battled back to take a one point lead, 18-17.
- After that, though, Grand Valley did just enough to win the set and the match in four.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

Hayley Kreiger finished with 15 kills, her 15th match of the season with 10 or more and eighth in a row.

Sami White turned in a big day with 40 assists and 10 digs for her seventh double-doiuble of the season and second in the last three matches.
- White also led the Panthers in service aces with two.
- Defenisvely, DU was paced by
Megan Herr's three stuffs and
Nina Rudnitsky's 22 digs.
