Panthers split doubleheader at Tiffin

TIFFIN, Ohio. – The Panthers finally were able to get back on the field for a game after getting their last three doubleheaders postponed due to weather. Davenport stole game one from the Dragons by a score of 1-0, then fell in game two 6-2. Mallory Teunissen continued her dominance on the pitching mound, even with the competition getting tougher with the move to the GLIAC and NCAA DII. Teunissen pitched seven scoreless innings in game one and struck out 11 batters. Davenport left 11 runners on base in the second game, and gave up 5 runs in the bottom of the fifth. The combination of those two resulted in a loss in game two and an even 1-1 split of the doubleheader.
