FINDLAY, Ohio – Davenport travelled to Ohio to play four non-conference games, two against Findlay University and two against Walsh University. The Panthers fell in two games to the Oilers on Friday and were held to only two runs offensively on the day.
Mallory Teunissen's impressive stretch of scoreless innings ended during game one in the first inning.

Davenport couldn't advance their runners past first base in the game. Pauley, Urban, Jewell, and Allen all got to first base on either a single or a walk. The Panthers couldn't take advantage of their runners on base. Teunissen had a tough time on the mound, she gave up eight hits and two earned runs. She ended her scoreless inning streak at 17 consecutive innings.

The Panthers had a great start to the second game, scoring two runs in the top of the first to take an early lead over the Oilers. Urban batted second and reached on a throwing error, then Flores singled to right field and Urban advanced to second. Jewell advanced the runners to second and third after she flied out to center field. With two outs Allen stepped up to the plate and hit a double to left field, scoring Flores and Urban. Following the two runs in the first Davenport was held scoreless in innings two through seven.
