HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Panthers picked up their largest margin of victory to date over the Chippewas. DU scored three times in the opening period as Jacob Demeter, Evan Carroll and Cole Uzzell all lit the lamp. The goals came in a span of four minutes later in the period. Demeter from Marc Rotondo and Tyler Majewski happened at 15:26. Carroll scored 29 seconds later with an assist from Kyle Mazur. Uzzell scored on the power play at 19:26 from Adam Hulsey and Tyler Blackburn. Eight different players had one point in the first.
-Davenport increased their lead to 8-0 with five goals in the middle stanza. Rotondo netted his first of the game at 4:20 from Demeter. Jeff Rahilly scored on the power play at 6:04 from Tyler Jaenicke and Carroll. Jaenicke got his own goal at 10:32 from Rahilly and Jessee Game. Carroll scored his second of the game at 12:45 from Spencer Anderson and Justin Vantine. Anderson then ended the period at 17:24 from Andrew Bagnasco.
-DU let the foot off the gas a little bit in the third period with two goals. Harry Newton scored at 3:57 from Mazur and Mazur scored at 7:02 from Jake Pobur.
-Devin Rosema got the win in net for the Panthers making 12 saves in the shutout. DU finished 2-of-6 on the power play while CMU went 0-of-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Panthers won for back-to-back times for the first time this season and scored a season-high 16 goals in the rout of the Chippewas. DU erupted for 11 goals in the second period to put this one away early. Carroll was the man of the hour with four goals and an assist. Rotondo added a goal and four assists. Connor Seymour scored once and added four assists. Demeter had the second hat trick of the game for DU with three goals. Uzzell and Trevor Murray each scored twice for the Panthers.
-Davenport finished the game 3-of-4 on the power play and committed just four penalty minutes. CMU spent 23 minutes in the penalty box and were 0-of-1 on the man advantage. In total, nine different Panthers scored a goal in the contest. Drake Deering stopped all 10 shots in get the win in net. Robert Pegrum also made three saves in goal in backup duty.
