NOTABLE PERFORMANCES

GETTING CHANCES
The Panthers came out ready to play, and certainly played like they wanted to end their season on a high note. They out the Argos 9-5 in the opening 20 minutes, but it would be Providence who struck first as Levi Anderson scored with less than five minutes to play in the period. However, Davenport did not wait long to answer, as in the final minute of the frame, Rahilly found the back of the net, and the game was tied at one heading into the first intermission.
TURNING THE TABLES
In the second period, the Argos showed why they are a top-10 team, putting 18 shots on goal. They were rewarded as Cooper Page scored twice in the period, and completing the natural hat trick in the opening minute of the third.
Yet, DU did not back down. Less than 90 seconds after Page's third of the contest, Hulsey scored his first of the season to get the Panthers back on the board. A little passed the halfway mark of the period,
Tyler Majewski scored on the power play, and just like that DU was back within one.
However, the Argos recovered, as Leo Felt scored with a little over five minutes to play in regulation, with Will Wright putting the icing on the cake with his third goal of the tournament. Providence would go on to win by a final score of 6-3.
DU ends their 2021 season with a 6-7-1 record.
