BIG RAPIDS, Mich. - The Davenport women's tennis team continued to play short-handed with just four inserted into the lineup during Wednesday's 7-0 loss at Ferris State. The Bulldogs allowed the Panthers just two doubles games and took the one point.
Hannah Murphy took Silvia Verebes to a tiebreak in the first set at No. 2 singles but fell 8-6 in the tiebreak. She fell 6-2 in the second set. The other three singles matches saw the Bulldogs not allow more than three games won in any set.
