HOW IT HAPPENED
-Lindenwood University got off to a hot start by scoring three goals in the first period. Davenport would answer with a goal of their own from
Trevor Murray, assisted by
Jordan Luciw.
-The second period was the difference as Lindenwood University scored five goals in the period. Davenport would counter with a goal from
Marc Rotondo, assisted by Luciw.
-The Lions would add another goal in the third period, while Davenport went scoreless.
-DU goals scored by Murray and Rotondo.
-Luciw had two assists on the night.

Drake Deering played 37:07 and had 19 saves in net while
Devin Rosema played 22:53 while recording 10 saves.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Davenport and the RedHawks battled it out in the final game of the tournament, with each team scoring five goals during the game. In the first period the teams swapped goals to leave the game tied at 1-1.
Tyler Jaenicke scored the lone goal for DU with 2:15 left in the period.
-Three different Panthers scored in the second period. The RedHawks scored the initial goal of the period and then
Connor Seymour and
Bailey Rietman scored two straight to give the Panthers the lead. Both teams would trade goals to end the period, leaving DU ahead 4-3.
-Early in the third period, the Panthers and the RedHawks would swap goals to give the Panthers a 5-4 lead. The RedHawks would find a late equalizer in the period to tie the game 5-5 and eventually send the game to overtime.
- Five different DU players scored Jaenicke, Seymour, Rietman,
Kyle McConnell and
Anthony Bagnasco.

Rotondo recorded two assists.

Deering played all 60 minutes as goalie and recorded 31 saves.

Davenport will face Trine University next weekend in a home-and-away series. Friday's game will be played at 8:20 pm in the Patterson Ice Center and Saturday's game is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at Trine University.
