TIFFIN, Ohio. – The Panthers will take part in their first GLIAC Tournament in program history tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday, October 31). Davenport will travel to Tiffin, Ohio to compete against Tiffin University. The Dragons earned the fourth seed by going 6-3 in conference play and the Panthers got the fifth seed by going 4-4-1 in conference. Davenport and Saginaw Valley State had similar records in conference play, but DU defeated the Cardinals 1-0 back on October 6 to win the head-to-head battle. The previous matchup between Davenport and Tiffin was on October 1 at the Farmers Insurance Athletic Complex. The Dragons won the match by scoring in the 105
th minute of the game (Double OT).
Madeleine Zayan scored the lone goal for Davenport in the 85
th minute. The game will have a 12:00 p.m. start time in Tiffin, Ohio at the Paradiso Athletic Fields.
