th minute and Davenport led 2-1 after 20 minutes of play.
-Senior
Donald Sund made sure he got in the scoring column as he fired a puck in the back of the net off of passes from Jake Otto and

-Both Sund and McConnell added a goal to help lead the team to victory. McConnell got a quick start to the third period just like the first, he scored just 67 seconds into the period. Sund scored on an un-assisted effort with just over two minutes remaining in the game to help seal the win.
-Sund and McConnell each had two goals.
-Five players tallied an assist tonight,
Zachary Bodziak, Ullstrom, Rotando, Kelly and Otto.
-Freshmen
Tyler Buchanan was the man in the net tonight, he saved 42 of the 44 shots fired at him.
COACHES CORNER"This was not our best sixty minutes of hockey, but we did find a way to win, said head coach
Chris Green. Scoring goals on the penalty kill is a big uplifting moment for our team,. I was very impressed with the commitment to our D-zone today and the fearlessness of blocking shots. Who would want to stand in front of an 85 MPH slap shot? The answer is, Warriors!!"
UP NEXTThe team rests up tonight and prepare to take on the same Lindenwood team tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. in the Patterson Ice Arena. Davenport looks to sweep the Lions and start up another win streak.
