Box Score 2 CHARLESTON, Ill. – The Davenport D2 hockey team continued their road swing to close out the semester as they traveled to Charleston, Ill., to face Eastern Illinois. Davenport closed out the semester on a three game win streak after they completed the weekend sweep on the road to move to 12-1-1-0 on the season. Davenport will return to action after the semester break when they travel to Marquette, Mich., to face Northern Michigan on January 16 and 17.

To start the weekend on Friday, Davenport jumped out to an early 3-0 lead after the first period and DU continued their offensive attack in the second and third periods as DU went on the first game of the weekend series 13-1.
Chris McRae led the Panthers with three goals in the game as he recorded his first collegiate hat trick.

On Saturday, the Davenport offense continued to roll as DU posted an 18-1 win over Eastern Michigan. To move to 12-1-1-0 on the season and close out their first semester schedule.

DU ended the semester on three game win streak with all three wins coming on the road. Davenport has also not lost in their last five games as they tied crosstown rival Grand Valley State at home.

Davenport will return to action in the next calendar when they travel up north to face Northern Michigan on January 16 and 17 in Marquette, Mich.
