GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – After a home-and-home series against Ferris State last weekend, the Davenport D2 hockey team will be back on the road again this weekend to start a four game road swing. This weekend, head coach
Chris Green and his squad will travel to Peoria, Ill. to face ACHA D3 opponent Bradley. The series will start on Friday night at 7 p.m.

Scouting BradleyÂ
Bradley comes into the weekend with a 3-5-2-0 record and is coming off a series against Illinois State where Bradley tied the first game, and lost the second game of the series. Leading the Braves in scoring this season is Johnny Blaus. Blaus leads the team in goals with seven and assists with 13. In net, Daniel Smith has played the majority of minutes this season. Smith has a 4.00 goals against average.

The PanthersÂ
The Davenport offensive attack has been on a roll to start the season as they are out scoring their opponents 52-12. Last weekend in the series with Ferris State, DU scored a total of 23 goals in the two games.
Donald Sund leads the team with 11 goals and has chipped in with 12 assists, and
Jake Otto has 10 goals and 11 assists thus far.
Branden Burton leads the team in assists with 13 and has also tallied seven goals.

Through the first six games of the season,
Andrew Habasevich and
Tyler Kuehl each played three games and both have a record of 3-0-0. Kuehl has a save percentage of .957 to go along with a 1.00 goals against average, while Habasevich has a .906 save percentage and a 3.00 goals against average.

The Panthers will play their next four games on the road starting this weekend when they travel to Peoria, Ill. to face Bradley on Friday at Saturday. Both games this weekend will be at the Owens Center at 7 p.m.
