The Davenport Women's Rugby team closes out its regular season this Saturday as they host Central Michigan University on the Turf Field. The Panthers come into the weekend with a perfect 7-0 record after defeating Cedar Rapids this past Saturday by a score of 62-15. Kickoff for this Saturday's game is set for 8 p.m. under the lights.

The Panthers Davenport comes into the weekend averaging just under 56 points per game, and has only allowed a total of 27 points on the season. In last week's 62-15 victory over Cedar Rapids, Six different Panthers recorded tries, with four of them scoring two. Newly-named Olympic player

Brittany O'Dell,
Courtenay Tafel, and
Makala Ferguson all recorded two tries a piece, and
Hannah Tennant was 6-8 on her conversion kicks.
Allison Miedzielec and
Jennifer Harig also tacked on tries for the Panthers in the match.
The Matchup This will be the first time Davenport and Central Michigan face off against one another, and is the last game of the Panthers' fall schedule. CMU comes into the contest with a record of 2-4-1, and suffered a tough loss to Bowling Green this past Sunday.
Following Saturday's match, the Panthers will begin their playoff play with the first game being on November 8. If Davenport advances to the second round, then they would play again on November 15. Davenport has yet to be informed on the time and location of these playoff games.
