The Last Time vs. Lourdes
The Panthers opened the Student Center for the first time in the 2013-14 campaign with a 96-61 runaway victory over Lourdes last November. Although Davenport had never trailed in the game, it had no answer to Lauren Tilden and Tarynn Hampton, who led the contest with 20 and 18 points, respectively. The Panthers did have four student-athletes post double figures. Tiesha Stokes led the way for DU with 17 points and Alex Law not far behind with 15. While shooting 49.3 percent from the field, the Panthers defense held the Gray Wolves to 37.9 percent and forcing 29 turnovers.

A Quick Look at Lourdes – 4-14, 2-9 WHAC – Head coach Karen McConnell
Since their last meeting at Davenport last November which resulted in a 96-61 setback, the Gray Wolves have 11 of their last 12 games. Recently, Lourdes is coming off a 70-47 road defeat to Lawrence Tech last Wednesday. Tarynn Hampton collected 16 points but the team was held to 29.6 percent shooting from the floor while the Blue Devils used their home floor to compile a 52 percent clip. Both teams would trade off the lead for the first 10 minutes until a 16-5 Lawrence Tech run set the tone for the game.

The WHAC Standings Right Now
With the second half of the WHAC season underway, the Panthers currently sit in first place with a 10-1 record and had gained a two-game lead after No. 13 Aquinas fell to No. 23 Siena Heights 79-69 last Wednesday. Although Aquinas remains in second place at 8-3, it is sharing the spot with Beltline rival Cornerstone, which defeated Northwestern Ohio 61-48 at home. Siena Heights is also 2 ½ games behind the Panthers in the standings, having played an extra game so far. The Racers share fifth place with Indiana Tech with identical 7-4 records.
