The Davenport Report – 10-1, 5-1 WHAC
Davenport hits the road after running away with an 87-50 victory over Lawrence Tech at the DU Student Center last Saturday. Brittany Johnson had 14 points and a season-high 12 assists for her first double-double and was one helper short from tying a seven year old school record. Johnson was one of four Panthers to post double figures in points against the Blue Devils as Tiesha Stokes had 13 points and Alison Bouman had 12. Alex Law matched Johnson's 14 points off the bench for Davenport, with nine points coming from 3-point land. Stokes also finished the day with seven rebounds, with four brought down offensive.

A Quick Look at Madonna – 5-5, 4-2 WHAC – Head Coach Carl Graves
The Crusaders are coming off a 89-72 road loss to Cornerstone last Saturday. Tori Duffey had 19 points while Rachel Melcher had 11 rebounds and five assists to lead the Crusaders. Madonna trailed as many as 23 points to the Golden Eagles and managed to pull within seven. The loss snapped the Crusaders four-game win streak. Melcher paces the team with 14.9 points per game and right behind her at 14.6 is Chelsea Williams. Tori Duffey (13.7) and Justice Dean (10.4) are also averaging double figures in points.

Surviving Madonna's Gym
Davenport will have a challenge ahead of them Saturday as Madonna is 14-1 in the last two seasons at the Activities Center. The Crusaders, who are 3-0 at home this season, suffered their only home loss during that run to Indiana Tech in their home opener last season. In their last visit to Livonia last season, Davenport trailed the Crusaders by 11 with just under 5:00 to play and had rallied to tie the score with 25 seconds remaining, but four straight points by the host Crusaders to end the game were the difference in a 78-74 loss to Madonna.
