Former Davenport University volleyball standout Nicole (Chase) Tibbe returned to her alma mater in the Summer of 2014 as the Manager of Athletic Facilities and Events. As part of the athletic leadership team, Nicole oversees the scheduling of the Student Center, Turf Field, and Farmers Insurance Athletic Complex; as well as coordinating community events and external rentals, supervising the Student Center staff, overseeing ticket operations, and overseeing athletic events and operations.

While a student-athlete, Nicole held several different positions, including a Student Center Building Manager where she oversaw the Panther Recreation department, having interned with the West Michigan Sports Commission followed by a part time position as the Director of Event Operations for the Meijer State Games of Michigan, and coached for the FAR Out Volleyball Club as well as assisted with the Caledonia Varsity Girls Basketball Team.

As part of the Panther volleyball program from 2010-13, Chase had a successful career on both the court and in the classroom. During her career she was a two-time First Team All-Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference selection, Academic All-WHAC, First Team and Honorable Mention AVCA All-Region, named to the WHAC All-Freshman team, and was a two-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete.  Nicole finished her career second all-time in kills, first all-time block solos, first all-time in block assists, and first all-time in total blocks.

A Caledonia native, Nicole earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Sport Management in 2013 and her Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in strategic management in 2015 at Davenport University.  Nicole is married to Andy Tibbe and they currently reside in Caledonia.
