Al enters his second year as an assistant jumps coach for the Panthers. He assists with technical training for the horizontal jumps (long and triple jump). Last year, he coached the horizontal jumpers to six top five finishes and nine top eight finishes combined at both indoor and outdoor GLIAC conference championships. Al was a horizontal jumps athlete for Aquinas College, and is now an avid volleyball player. Originally for Lima, Peru, he has experience in international competition with his home country.
