Rachel Netzler

Rachel Netzler enters her second season as an assistant coach on head coach, Brian Netzler's staff in the fall of 2020.

Rachel's coaching experience includes:
  • Assistant Coach at The University of Akron
  • Assistant Tournament Director and Master Coach at Michigan Volleyball Academy
  • Youth Academy Director and Lead Coach of the Dead Frog Far Out Club Team
  • Head Varsity Coach and Junior Varsity Coach at Zeeland East and East Kentwood High Schools
  • Sports Performance Volleyball Club (Aurora, Ill.)
  • Rossview High School JV and Assistant Coach
  • Multiple other skill level camps and programs
Rachel guided Zeeland East to their first ever Conference Tournament Championship and won a 16s' AAU National Championship during her time with the Sports Performance Volleyball Club.

Rachel graduated from Northern Michigan University in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in management of health and fitness. As a player, she appeared in 39 matches for the Wildcats with a total of 497 assists and 235 digs. In 2006, Rachel helped lead Iowa Western Community College to a 60-4 record and a NJCAA DI National Championship. She set the program's single-season record in assists with 2,045. She also earned All-Conference honors at Kalamazoo Valley Community College in 2007.
