High School: Prepped at Plymouth Christian (Mich.) under coach Dennis Scully...best 100-meter dash time was 11.2 and 200-meter dash time was 23.01...named a three-time all-star for the GR Track Club...three-time state champion in the 100 and 200 dash.

Personal: Majoring in marketing...son of Fred and Marie Kegel...born on February 22...favorite movie is 13 Hours.
