High School: Prepped at Pewamo-Westphalia (Mich.) High School...set personal bests of 15.84 in the 100 hurdles, 5' in the high jump, 16' 2" in the long jump, 13.64 in the 100 dash, and 8.57 in the 60 dash...named all-state in the hurdles, 4x100 and 4x200 relays as a junior...won the team Class C State Championship as a junior.

Personal: Majoring in accounting...daughter of Brenda and William Schafer...born on July 25...favorite movie is Breakthrough.
