The 2020-21 season marks Walton's second on Celia Kiogima's coaching staff. Walton graduated from Davenport in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in marketing and advertising and was a member of the cheer team from 2012-16.
During her time with the Panthers, Walton was part of four NCA National Championships and two STUNT National Championships. She competed in NCA group stunt, was an NCA All-American and First-Team All-WHAC athlete.
From 2014-17, Walton was a cheer instructor for NCA. She has traveled cross the United States mentoring and teaching skills and techniques to various colleges and universities. She coached and choreographed for the Central Michigan University cheer team that placed 10th in 2018 and 13th in 2019 at the UCA Nationals.
