Dylan Liddell is entering his fifth season as an assistant coach with the men's basketball program in 2020-21. Liddell, the team's offensive coordinator, is also responsible for several day-to-day operations including gear, travel, monitoring the student-athletes' in the classroom, and coordinating DU's summer team camps.
Liddell graduated from (spring of 2016) and was a student assistant at Grand Valley State for three seasons (2013-16). With the Lakers, he was the program's first ever NCAA recruiting certified student assistant while assisting the coaching staff with scouting, recruiting and player development. During his time in Allendale, Liddell was also responsible for other day-to-day operations such as gear, travel and supervising a staff of student assistants/managers.
The Auburn, Indiana native and graduate from and played at DeKalb High School where he was a two-year team captain.
Coach Paddock said, "Coach Liddell has been a crucial piece of our success as we've transitioned from the NAIA level to NCAA Division II. He is a tireless worker and is truly dedicated to the success of our student-athletes both on the court and in the classroom. In fact, his 'academic teams' (within our basketball program) have won our highest GPA award in five of the last six semesters."
