Biography

2019 (R-Sr.): Anchored the offensive line with 10 starts at center.

2018 (R-Jr.): Played in eight games and started the final five games of the season at center...helped the offensive unit average over 100 yards more than in 2017.

2017 (R-So.): Played in just the season opener before season-ending injury.

2016 (R-Fr.): Started in every game at center on the offensive line...helped anchor a line that produced 3,131 yards of total offense...team finished with 13 rushing TD's and 1,584 rushing yards (4.0 yards per carry).

High School: Prepped at Lansing Sexton High School...played for coach Dan Boggan...named to Lansing State Journal Dream Team twice...named All-Conference four times...advanced to state finals as a senior.

Personal: Son of Shannon Melton...majoring in sport management...born November 24...favorite movie is Step Brothers.
