Prior to DU: Attended Des Moines Area Community College and batted .276 during the 2020 season...collected eight hits, four doubles, one home run and five RBI.

High School: Prepped at Urbandale (Iowa) under head coach Jeremy Heinen...named Elite All-State...won a 2018 state championship.

Personal: Majoring in finance...son of Troy and Kristi Troncin...born on July 2...favorite movie is Dumb and Dumber.
