Prior to DU: Attended Macomb Community College and during the 2020 season made four appearances...led the team with 11.2 innings and struck out 16 with just four walks...posted a 1.54 ERA and went 2-0.

High School: Prepped at Warren Woods Tower under head coach Tom Miller...named First Team All-County and All-Conference as a senior.

Personal: Majoring in business management...son of Kristin Kohl and Eric Hesse...born on July 19...favorite movie is The Other Guys.
