The Davenport bowling teams made the trip to Moline, Ill. for the men's tournament and Davenport, Iowa for the women's tournament as part of the Leatherneck Classic over the weekend.

The women's team finished 22nd of 25 varsity teams with a pinfall total of 7,235. Omani Morales finished 45th overall with an average of 178.2 in six games. Emily Tanis placed 87th individually with an average of 159.3. Mikaela VanDuinen placed 92nd with an average of 155.

The men's team finished 20th of 32 varsity teams with a pinfall total of 8,600. Nick Luther had the top average for the Panthers and finished 23rd overall (203.3). Brandon Hyska placed 43rd with an average of 197.3. Andres Baculi placed 92nd with an average of 180.5.
