INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Davenport bowling teams dusted off the bowling balls for their first competition of the season after the lengthy break in the action due to COVID-19. The teams traveled to the Hoosier Classic at Western Bowl on Saturday and Sunday.
The women's team placed 30th out of 31 teams on the varsity level on Saturday with 3,632 total pins. The men's team placed 22nd of 34 teams on the varsity level on Saturday with 4,623 total pins.Â
The women's team placed 28th out of 31 teams on the varsity level on Sunday with 3,944 total pins. The men's team placed 26th out of 33 teams on the varsity level on Sunday with 4,227 total pins.
There were 25 baker games bowled on Saturday for both teams.
Brandon Hyska had the highest average in five games on Sunday averaging 187.6.
Omani Morales had the highest average in five games on Sunday for the women averaging 177.6.
