CLERMONT, Fla. – The Panthers took on Kentucky Wesleyan in the first game and then Florida Southern in the second. Davenport lost both games, but were right there in each contest. In game two, the Panthers had a chance to tie the game in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Briana Allen was called out on a throw from right field to home plate, which happened to be the third and final out of the inning.

The first game of the day was low scoring for both teams. Each team scored a run in the first inning.
Rachel Griffin reached on a throwing error by the short stop and Pauley scored, tying the game at 1-1. The Panthers were held scoreless for the rest of the game and Kentucky Wesleyan scored two in the fifth inning.

Davenport's offense picked up in game two. The Panthers took a 1-0 lead when Merice singled down the left field line, scoring Kalina. The Mocs scored two runs in the first and two in the third to take a 4-1 lead. Davenport responded with two runs in the fourth. Flores doubled to center field, scoring Griffin and Koza on the play. Florida Southern scored in the bottom of the fourth and davenport trailed by two runs. The Panthers cut the lead down to one when Crawford singled to right field in the sixth inning, scoring French. The Panthers were close to tying the game in the seventh, but Allen was called out on a play at the plate.
